As the vaccination drive continues, more employees are returning to the workplace, however corporates are adopting a hybrid model approach. This comes as a result of more corporates re-engaging their workspaces with a focus towards sustainability and employee wellness.

For the remainder of the year, we can expect the office market to remain subdued as consolidation efforts continue.
Furthermore, the market is expected to remain in favor of tenants, with occupiers benefiting from subdued market conditions and seeking opportunities to upgrade office space with limited capital expenditure.

Looking ahead at the residential sector, we expect outdated existing developments to continue to face pressure particularly apartment developments, as new developments with larger unit layouts, attractive payment plans, and community amenities have a stronger appeal to tenants and investors alike.

UAE : The fastest growing e-commerce sector in the Middle East.

The UAE is rapidly growing its e-commerce sector as people prefer online shopping and electronic transactions over traditional shopping methods. In the UAE, e-commerce presently accounts for 4.2 % profit and is expected to rise by an average of 23 % by 2022. Online shopping used to be a luxury and a convenience; now, it's a necessity.

 
What impact will Expo 2020 have on various economic sectors?

EXPO 2020 in Dubai has become linked with exciting exhibitions and business opportunities. To meet the expectations of 25 million visitors, the government invested more than thirty billion dirhams in new infrastructure projects. This paved the way for the best opportunities to be implemented at the Dubai Expo 2020.
 
India and the UAE intend to increase bilateral trade to $ 100 billion
As the UAE works to deepen ties with fast-growing economies outside the Middle East, both the UAE and India's trade ministers have stated that trade in goods and services between the two countries will increase by 70% over the next five years, achieving a target of more than $100 billion in bilateral trade.
